  • Where do I pay my league fees? League fees are adding to the Team manager’s Community Pass account. You can access your account by logging in here CommunityPass

  • When and where do I submit my team’s roster? Rosters are due before your first game of the league. Team managers will submit the roster on QuickScores. How to guide is linked above

  • How many players do I need? There is no maximum capacity but we advise that you have at least 8 players on your roster. You will need 6 players to field a team each week. This is a COED league so at least 2 of your 6 players must be female players.

  • Where can I found my team’s schedule? All league schedules, rosters and communication is done on Quickscores. Stamford Recreation Services - QuickScores.com

  • Where can I find my leagues rules? League rules are listed on the page and can be found in the downloads tab on Quickscores.  Downloadable Files - QuickScores.com

  • How many games will my team play? Fall & Winter leagues will be 8 games plus playoffs. Spring leagues will be 6 games plus playoffs

  • Can you help with finding new players to join my team? We have a free agents board where players can post their position/ availability. This is the best place to find players for your team

May Laber was a woman that lived her life to the fullest each day.  She loved many things but her relationship with her family and friends is what made May such a special person.  She adored her grandchildren and family and spent many hours with friends.  There was a crossover from her private life and professional life in that many of the people she met at work at the Day Camps, Adult Sport Leagues and Youth Leagues she supervised became her friends.  There was hardly a day that went by when someone did not stop by our office telling a funny story about May and their relationship with her. May loved the Stamford Volleyball League.  She had been the League Director for over 20 years at the time of her passing.  She spend numerous hours contacting teams and ensuring that it was the best experience possible for the players in the league.  It is only fitting to name the league in her honor.  Beginning in the Fall 2006, the league name has officially been named the May Laber Volleyball League.  We miss her dearly and only hope to continue to run the league to her high standards and live up to the May Laber name.
