A Hula Hoop Fitness & Hoop Dance program. OUR MOTTO IS “HOOP GIRLS WHIRL THE WORLD” With a big H - for HAPPY Hoop Girls will have a whirl of a time, getting happy and fit, while burning calories hooping it up to their favorite pop tunes using beautifully designed handmade Fitness hoops. Hoops are provided for the first few classes, after must be purchased from Betty $25. Bring to every class thereafter. We start with a dynamic warm up using the hoops, followed by Hula Hooping and learning some awesome 'hooping tricks” and eventually, full choreographed HOOP DANCE routines. Hooping is a wonderful form of exercise, self- expression, and creativity. It improves fitness, stamina, endurance, strengthens Core and improves hand-eye co-ordination, proprioception, balance and motor skills. Hoop Girls is also a phenomenal stress reducer. Description: CT Soccer Network, led by UEFA A licensed ex Manchester United and Atletico Madrid coach, Rich Sutherland will be running winter soccer clinics for players in Kinder through 5th grade. The winter program will be run by professional coaches with years of youth development experience. The coaches will be adhering to an age specific curriculum that has been designed through many years of work in Europe, Asia and the USA. Sessions will include hundreds (if not thousands) of touches on the ball while encouraging the players to develop within a holistic environment. Using a ball each as often as possible, the players will evolve through repetition and FUN based sessions. Classes will challenge the players individually and as a group on a weekly basis. Skills taught throughout the winter will cover dribbling including 1v1 skills & moves, passing, 1st touch & control and shooting.
