Spring Vacation Camp Grades K - 5

Come join us during the holiday break as we offer this 4 day vacation program. Each day campers Will be involved in gym games, sports, arts and crafts and more. Camp is open to a max of 32 students per day and you can sign up for as many days as you need. Bring a bagged lunch each day! All staff will wear masks and campers will be split into two groups.

If you love building and inventions, our hands on building activities will inspire you! Students working in pairs will work with special LEGO® gears and levers and engineering components to possibly build a Wall Rocker Racer, Supercharged Speedster, a Battle Spinner and even a drawing machine. This fun, hands-on class shows students how engineering can be fun and silly, yet still educational. Students will build models, and discuss the engineering science behind each model. Students will then be challenged to improve the model and customized their creations. Please bring a lunch and a snack, No Lego’s will be taken home. Pictures will be emailed home.

If you have a learner who likes building things and figuring out how things work, they will love this class. Join us as we explore, investigate, & solve problems while we learn about the building blocks ofengineering-simple machines. Students will work through building models that demonstrate mechanical and physical engineering. Learning projects may include: mini mechanical concept models, a moving dragon, scale, clown, crane, car, scale, fan, merry-go-round. No Lego’s will be taken home. Please bring a snack. March 24 class is 2:00pm – 3:30pm. Registration begins March 1st
Spring Vacation Mixed Medias Art Camp

Because variety is the spice of life, this camp offers both painting, clay, and mixed media projects, AND cartooning and plush creation. This fun vacation art camp offered by Paint, Draw & More! is designed for students ages 5-12. Each day is comprised of a full day of creating mixed media fine art, cartooning/comic book creation, and plush toys. Students will explore a variety of mediums and be encouraged to express their creativity in new and exciting ways. A compilation of the week's activities will end in an art show for the parents. During our camp session we will have a lunch break. This camp will run Monday through Friday and is open to a maximum of 20 students with a division of age groups. This year's teachers are Jo-Ann Claybourne (mixed media artist) and Heather Bennett (cartooning plush class).
LEGO® @Home: Jedi Adventures

Play-Well programs are going virtual! Begin your Jedi training from the comfort of your own home with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor and simple pieces from your own LEGO® collection - all while connecting virtually with other young Jedi engineers! Explore engineering principles and learn new building techniques while constructing your favorite Star Wars ships, creatures, characters and more. Create projects with imagination and engineering to defeat the Empire, with a focus on open-ended builds that do not require special LEGO® pieces.
