COVID-19 Precautions

All Stamford Recreation youth sports and programs have a max of 12 to 16 participants per class. 16 is the max to meet State of CT guidelines, and all programs are following such guidelines to include social distancing of 6 feet when possible. During classes and youth sports participants must wear a mask when they are walking on and off of the field/grass areas.  During non-sport classes, masks are optional for children.  Staff must wear masks at all times. Parents are asked a few questions prior to classes via email or in person regarding the health and travel of the youth participants. Equipment and tables are cleaned after each class.  Hand sanitizer is available for all participants. Temperatures are taken by the Star Center Building Supervisor as students enter and anyone with either a temperature or who appears sick will sent home.  Parents/Guardians are asked to keep children home if they are not feeling well or have a fever above 100 degrees.
