ANNOUNCING CANCELATION OF PROGRAMS/SERVICES
The safety of Stamford Recreation Services staff, volunteers, guests and community is a top priority and Stamford Recreation Services is taking appropriate action to limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Following directives from CT Governor Ned Lamont, the CT Department of Public Health, Mayor David Martin and the CDC to limit public gatherings, Stamford Recreation is closing several indoor public facilities and canceling all events and programs until April 30th.

Registrations for spring indoor programs all Recreation programs are canceled with the exception of:
U.S. Sports Institute Spring UPDATED classes will begin:
Saturdays, May 2-June 27
Sunday, May 3-June 28
Tuesdays, May 5-June 23
Eagles Soccer Academy- NEW DATES
Mondays & Wednesdays, May 4-June 24th

Outdoor Tennis Lessons
Stamford Recreation is only offering selective outdoor spring programs for online registration. All summer programs will be available online for registration starting March 17th. We will set aside registration spots for walk-in registrations at a later date for summer programs for those that cannot register online.
All Stamford permitted/sanctioned sports leagues including Stamford Rec leagues are postponed for the 30 days as well.
Stamford outdoor locations will remain open including all parks. E. Gaynor Brennan Golf Course will remain open. All patrons visiting Stamford Parks are recommended to take preventative action when visiting the park system including hand washing/sanitizing, self-monitoring and social distancing as much as possible.
