| Scott has worked for the City Of Stamford since 1998 as the Assistant Superintendent of Recreation. He is responsible for the administration of all preschool, youth, teen and adult programs not related to the sport leagues. Scott has also been working cooperatively with the Board of Education the past three years running after school programs through the 21 st Century Learning Grant for Elementary and Middle School students. He is also in charge of the supervision of all summer Day Camp ,Playground Programs, Special Events and the Project Music Program. Scott is also in charge of designing and preparing our Recreation Services Seasonal Brochure. Scott is a member of CRPA and NRPA and is a certified NYSCA Chapter Director as well as a Right Steps Sports Instructor. Scott graduated from Branford High School and Southern Connecticut University with a BS degree in Recreation & Leisure Management. Before coming to Stamford, Scott worked as the Assistant Director for Orange Parks & Recreation and was a Program Supervisor for the Wilton Parks & Recreation Department. Scott is married with two sons and in his leisure time he enjoys spending time with his family, attending his boys sporting events and being involved in his community. |
