Roary, The Mascot

Roary has worked for the City of Stamford for the past two years.  He received his name after an extensive search within the Stamford School system.  Elementary school classes from Toquam and Hart school's named our mascot "Roary" after his ferocious roar.  Although his roar is ferocious, his bark is much worse than his bite.  He is our most popular staff member at any event he goes to.

Roary received his bachelors degree from Clemson University where he was photographed extensively as the Clemson Tiger.  He came back home to the Tri-State area and went on to receive his Master's Degree at Princeton University where he soon found himself all over campus as the Princeton Tiger.  Roary really enjoys children so he decided to move on to the City of Stamford Recreation Division to bring a smile on   all whom he encounters.

Roary enjoys spending time with his den and going on family vacations.   His favorite places are the Bronx zoo, the San Diego zoo, Six Flags Safari, Animal Kingdom and going to the Ringling Brothers circus.

Roary enjoys going for walks, drinking milk, cleaning himself and sleeping.  He can be contacted at various special events.
